Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of transfer and transportation services provided by ABtransfers.lv, a registered transport company headquartered in Riga, Latvia. References to "we", "us", or "ABtransfers" refer to ABtransfers.lv and its authorised drivers and operators.

Bookings may be made online via our website, by phone, WhatsApp, or email. A booking is considered confirmed only once you have received a written confirmation from us via email or messaging platform. We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings at our discretion, in which case any payments made will be fully refunded.

All prices are fixed and quoted in Euros (EUR). The price agreed at the time of booking is final and includes all applicable tolls, parking fees, and standard waiting time. There are no hidden charges or surge pricing. Payment may be made online by credit or debit card at the time of booking, or in cash or by card directly to the driver at the time of service. Invoices for corporate clients are available upon request.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are free of charge and will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup may incur a fee of up to 50% of the transfer price. No-shows (where the passenger does not appear at the agreed pickup location within the waiting time allowance) will be charged the full transfer amount. Cancellation requests must be submitted by email or WhatsApp to be considered valid.

We will accommodate modifications to confirmed bookings (route changes, date or time adjustments, vehicle upgrades) wherever operationally possible. Modification requests should be submitted at least 12 hours before the scheduled pickup. Significant route changes may result in a revised price, which will be communicated and agreed upon before the modification is confirmed.

ABtransfers accepts liability for loss or damage caused directly by the negligence of our drivers or vehicles, up to the limits permitted by applicable Latvian law. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, road closures, weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We are not liable for consequential losses such as missed flights, missed connections, or other indirect damages.

All vehicles in the ABtransfers fleet are fully insured in compliance with Latvian and EU regulations, including mandatory third-party liability insurance (OCTA) and comprehensive vehicle insurance (KASKO). Passengers are covered under standard passenger insurance for all journeys. Evidence of insurance is available upon request.

Passengers are responsible for ensuring they are at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time. Passengers must wear seatbelts at all times where fitted. Passengers must not behave in a manner that endangers themselves, the driver, or other road users. Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger's deliberate or negligent actions will be charged to the responsible passenger. Passengers travelling with children are responsible for ensuring appropriate child safety seats are fitted; we provide child seats on request but cannot guarantee availability without advance notice.

ABtransfers shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather events, natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, or civil unrest. In such cases, we will endeavour to notify you as early as possible and offer a rescheduled transfer or full refund.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia.
